We’ll be celebrating this years theme “Strength through Partnership – Team Wales’ for Wales Tourism Week (Sat 11 – Sun 19 May). Would you like to join us?
Coordinated by the Wales Tourism Alliance (WTA), the week is designed to highlight the profile of the tourism sector, its impact to the national economy and the career opportunities it provides. It’s a way for us all to celebrate the countrys tourism industry.
We have so much to offer in Powys, from a growing and inspiring list of activities and events to some Mouth Watering local produce just waiting to entice. Throughout the week we’ll be celebrating tourism in our patch, with themed social media activity on each day…
Sat 11 – sharing the ‘Mid Wales My Way’ video
Sun 12 – food/drink
Mon 13 – green tourism
Tues 14 – unique days out
Wed 15 – activity tourism
Thurs 16 – making memories
Fri 17 – cycling
Sat 18 – spiritual/heritage
Sun 19 - walking
As we race through the Year of Discovery (Visit Wales’ thematic year for 2019), get behind the week and help us shout about our terrific tourism…
Look out for our posts across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and share our messages further amongst your own audience.
If you’ve events and things you’d like us to share just add @midwalesmyway or #midwalesmyway to your posts and we’ll pick them up.
Continue to use #MidWalesMyWay #FindYourEpic #VisitWales and #GwladGwlad (the latter three are Visit Wales’ hashtags).
Wales Tourism Alliancehas more detail about the week and a list of events that have already signed up to the weeks events listing. If you’ve something planned, why not add it in?
